M·A·C Lover Belgium Loyalty Program (“Program”)

M·A·C Lover is M·A·C’s consumer loyalty program, a makeup-lovers’ cult for the lover, devoted and downright obsessed.

The Program is available to individuals who are legal residents of Belgium and at least 18 years or older who provide and maintain a valid email address.

You can join the Program by signing up with a store associate in a M·A·C Cosmetics owned and operated store in Belgium or at maccosmetics.be. You will need to provide your full name, zip code and email address to enroll. If you are enrolling on our website www.maccosmetics.be,you will also create a password in order to complete your enrollment. You will also have the opportunity to provide us with your phone number, but this information is optional. In order to access certain Program benefits and rewards, you will also need to provide us with your birthday, but birthday is not mandatory for Program enrollment. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the MAC Cosmetics Privacy Policy.

The M·A·C Lover Belgium Loyalty Program has four tiers – Lover, Seduced, Devoted and Obsessed. For the year in which you enroll in the Program, Tiers are based on the amount spent on qualifying products and services during the calendar year, commencing on the first date after your enrollment on which you make a qualifying purchase using your Program membership identification number, and ending on December 31 of that calendar year. Each year after the enrollment year, on January 1, your M·A·C Lover points reset to zero (0).

After your first year, tiers are based on the amount you spent during that calendar year (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31). Your status in a particular tier is valid for the calendar year in which you qualify for that tier and the following full calendar year (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31). After that, you’ll need to spend enough on eligible purchases to qualify for that tier each year. For example, if you qualify for Tier 2, Seduced, during your first year, you’ll maintain Seduced status during your second year. But, if you spend less than 100€ on qualifying purchases during your second year, you’ll drop back down to Tier 1, Lover status in January. The more you purchase, the more covetable privileges you earn and the higher you climb in our four elite tiers.

Tier 1-LOVER ( < 100€)

Tier 2-SEDUCED (100€ – 299€)

Become Seduced by spending between 100€ & 299€ on qualifying purchases in a calendar year.

• All Tier 1 Lover benefits
• Brand events / Preview nights invitations (2 times per year, only at selected M·A·C Cosmetics stores specified in the event invitation, without purchase)
• Free M.A.C. Service (once a year).
• One free full size product redeemable with 150 points (pre-selected products only)
• One free full size product redeemable with 250 points (pre-selected products only)

Tier 3-DEVOTED (300€ - 549€)

Become Devoted by spending between 300€ and 549€ on qualifying purchases in a calendar year.

• All Tier 1 Lover and Tier 2 Seduced benefits
• Special invite to international virtual masterclass (available up to twice a year)
• Three free samples with each online order
• One End of the year gift
• One free full size product redeemable with 500 points (pre-selected products only)

Tier 4-OBSESSED(≥ 550€)

Become Obsessed by spending 550€ or more on qualifying purchases in a calendar year.

• All Tier 1 Lover, Tier 2 Seduced and Tier 3 Devoted benefits
• One free full size product redeemable with 1000 points (pre-selected products)
• One free full size product redeemable with 5000 points (pre-selected products)

* Two Birthday Gifts cannot be obtained during the same year, therefore, if Birthday gift was already redeemed while in Tier 1, an upgrade to Tier 2 during the same year does not grant an additional Birthday gift.

No purchase is required to join the Program. When you join the Program, you are automatically placed in the Lover tier and qualify for Lover benefits.

Some Program benefits require a purchase to qualify for the benefit. Purchases of 100€ or more in a calendar year are required to advance to the Seduced tier and qualify for Seduced benefits. Purchases of 300€ or more in a calendar year are required to advance to the Devoted tier and qualify for Devoted benefits. Purchases of 550€ or more in a calendar year are required to advance to the Obsessed tier and qualify for Obsessed benefits

To earn Program benefits, you must be enrolled in the Program, you must provide your Program member identification or email address at the time of the purchase, and purchases must be made on qualifying products or services in M·A·C Cosmetics owned and operated store in Belgium, or on website www.maccosmetics.be. Qualifying purchases include regular priced merchandise and services, and exclude purchases made with third party retailers, e-gift cards, wonderbox cards, sales tax, state fees if applicable, shipping charges, delivery charges or other excluded charges and/or purchases specified by us from time-to-time, including, but not limited to, certain charitable products where funds are donated to M·A·C Viva Glam Foundation or any other charitable organization, value sets, select premium products and services, and other specified products.

Tier benefits are valid for as long as you are in a specific tier. If you move down a tier, your benefits change accordingly

Each year after the enrollment year, on January 1, your M·A·C Lover points reset to zero. While your point balance resets each calendar year, your tier status is determined by the amount you spent on qualifying purchases in the prior calendar year of membership. Your status in a particular tier is valid for the year in which you qualify for that tier and the following full year. After that, you’ll need to spend enough to qualify for that tier each year. For example, if you qualify for Tier 2, Seduced, during your first year, you’ll maintain Seduced status during your second year. But, if you spend less than 100€ on qualifying purchases during your second year, you’ll drop back down to Tier 1, Lover status in January.

It may take up to 7 days for eligible purchases and other Program activities to post to your account.

Your membership level and account status is accessible in your account online, with a store associate in a M·A·C Cosmetics owned and operated store in Belgium, or by calling M·A·C Cosmetics Customers Service

You identify your M·A·C Lover membership by providing your email address to a store associate in any M·A·C Cosmetics owned and operated store in Belgium or by providing your digital loyalty card.

M·A·C Lover Program members receive a special surprise every year for their birthday, if they have provided their birth date in their account profile. You can redeem your birthday gift:

1) In a M·A·C Cosmetics owned and operated store in Belgium by providing your M·A·C Lover member identification number or email address, starting from October 15th, 2022; or

2) On maccosmetics.be and selecting your birthday gift offer as soon as it will be visible in your M·A·C Lover account at checkout.

From time to time you will be offered early access to shop select collections before they are offered for sale to the public. Qualifying members will receive email invites when these offers are made available. Members must login to their accounts to redeem this benefit. These offers are available for a limited time and quantities are limited.

You can manage your email preferences in your M·A·C Cosmetics account online, from the link at the bottom of each email communication or by submitting a request through our Privacy Portal Email communications from M·A·C Cosmetics tell you about exclusive opportunities, benefits, the latest collections from M·A·C Cosmetics and much more.

You can update your information by logging into your account online in the profile section, by informing a store associate in-store, or by contacting Customer Services here

You can reset your password by selecting ‘Forgot Password’ at the login page.

Unless you already opted in to additional and other uses of the information you provided at the time you enrolled in the Program, your information will be used to provide you with services and offers related to the Program including identifying your membership to provide you with a program tier and corresponding benefits. By becoming a Program Member, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Program Terms and Conditions of Participation.

Membership will expire if a member has not redeemed or made a purchase for a period of 36 months.

M·A·C Cosmetics, in its sole but reasonable discretion, can terminate any Member for any reason including, but not limited to, any failure to comply with the Program terms & conditions and/or our website terms and conditions.

If your membership is terminated or expires, any rewards or benefits in your account will automatically terminate.

Yes. We may, in our discretion, cancel, modify, restrict or terminate the Program or any aspect or feature of the Program at any time subject to a thirty (30) day prior notice, with such changes affecting the value of rewards or benefits already accumulated or earned and/or the ability to redeem accumulated rewards or benefits after the thirty (30) day period.

If the Program is terminated, your rewards and benefits will automatically terminate. We will advise Members of the effective date of termination of the Program, rewards and benefits so that these may be redeemed in time.

If you decide you no longer want to be a part of the Program, you can opt-out in your account on the website at any time, by informing store associate at any M·A·C Cosmetics owned and operated retail store in Belgium or by submitting a request through our Privacy Portal. Please note that your rewards and benefits will automatically terminate.
